Crop Smart has relocated its Dooen store to a new site in Horsham.

Crop Smart has relocated its Dooen store to a new site in Horsham.

This move marks a significant step in the company’s evolution, while honouring a remarkable 19-year partnership with Darren Mills, the driving force behind the original Dooen location.

The relocation is a strategic decision for Crop Smart, enabling the company to enhance its operational efficiency and provide a more convenient service for customers across the Wimmera.

The new Horsham site will ensure continuity of customer service and high-quality farm inputs that the local farming community has come to expect.

Crop Smart executive chairman Matt Durden said the relocation to Horsham is a natural evolution, allowing us to better serve our customers from a more central location.

“This move has been in the works for some time as our company and Darren’s own farm businesses both continued to grow, so we’re entering this new chapter together with mutual excitement,” Matt said.

The Dooen store, Crop Smart’s first ever site and situated on Darren’s farm, has been a cornerstone of the business for nearly two decades, thanks in large part to the dedication and expertise of Darren, his family and his employees.

Their combined commitment has been instrumental in Crop Smart’s expansion throughout the Wimmera region, with this amicable parting of ways allowing Darren to focus on his expanding farm while Crop Smart continues to grow and evolve.

“Darren has been an incredible partner and friend to Crop Smart over the years,” Matt said. “His passion and hard work have contributed significantly to our growth in the Wimmera region.”

Crop Smart would like to express sincere gratitude to the Wimmera farming community for their support over the past 19 years, and the team are looking forward to welcoming customers to the new location at 52-56 Dimboola Road, Horsham.
