Leading animal health company, Elanco, has announced the appointment of Annie Ciampaglia as new territory manager for Western Australia.
Annie will report to sales manager (Northern Australia), Andrew Brewer.
Based in Perth, Annie will represent Elanco’s portfolio of leading sheep and beef brands, including CLiK Extra blowfly strike preventative, Zolvix Plus broad spectrum sheep and cattle drench Extinosad Pour-On and Viper Pour-On sheep lousicides and Compudose implants.
Annie was raised on a family-owned beef enterprise outside Berlin, Massachusetts, USA and graduated with a Bachelor of Animal Science degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2018.
For the past two years, Annie has worked as an animal health advisor with Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) in Hamilton, New Zealand.
In this role, she worked with farmers, veterinarians and consultants to deliver diagnostic services and tailored health solutions.
Prior to that, she spent two years as a chemistry team lead with Analytica Laboratories, where she supervised the quality assurance program for manuka honey.
Other experience include s eight months as a track rider for a racing stable south of Auckland and an internship with Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts.
Annie is passionate about animal science, including beef, dairy and equine management and exotic animals. She is also a qualified artificial insemination technician.
