A new face is strengthening northern agribusiness support, with Kevin Watts appointed sales agronomist for Colin Campbell (Chemicals) across Queensland and northern NSW.
The move signals continued investment by the company in experienced, regionally based expertise to support rural resellers and growers throughout Australia.
Kevin brings to Campbell’s more than 25 years of experience in sales agronomy, with a particularly strong grounding in horticulture and post-harvest treatments and technology.
Based in Mareeba, he is well known, having previously worked with Elders, EE Muir and Sons and TGT in the region.
His practical understanding of tropical and subtropical production systems is expected to strengthen support for resellers servicing horticulture, broadacre and mixed farming enterprises.
Kevin says the new role presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with retailers and growers alike.
“I’m really pleased to be joining Campbells,” Kevin says.
“They have a strong reputation for quality products and technical support, and I’m looking forward to working closely with resellers across Queensland and northern NSW to help deliver practical solutions for their grower clients,” he says.
National sales manager Ramsay Zreikat welcomes the appointment, highlighting the value of deep field experience in today’s competitive environment.
“We’re very pleased to have Kevin on board,” Ramsay says.
“He brings extensive agronomic sales experience, particularly in horticulture, and that knowledge will be invaluable to our reseller partners and the broader Campbells team,” he says.
He adds Kevin’s regional connections and technical background align strongly with the company’s commitment to supporting retailers with reliable chemistry, technical guidance, responsive service and a stream of new products.
The appointment further enhances Campbells’ northern coverage, ensuring retailers have access to experienced, locally based expertise to help them make the most of the opportunities presented by the Campbell’s range.
