Agspec has appointed Nigel Roberts as its Dubbo-based NSW Business Manager.

Nigel brings with him a wealth of boom spray expertise and is a trusted figure among NSW growers, known for his extensive work supporting the maintenance and performance of spray rigs.

Nigel’s deep understanding of spray application positions him perfectly to support Agspec’s innovative product range, including the chemical-compatible Blue Spear NPK and Cyhella insecticide, both widely used in cotton and canola crops.

With the challenges NSW growers have faced in recent seasons, Nigel is already making an impact by promoting the long-lasting snail and slug bait Axcela across Southern and Central NSW.

Passionate about helping growers overcome ongoing challenges with sustainable solutions, Nigel says he is also excited to introduce Agspec’s RapiSol range of micronutrients – formulated specifically to be compatible with AgChem.

Having spent countless hours addressing issues caused by fertiliser-chemical incompatibility, Nigel says “I won’t be crawling on my hands and knees anymore thanks to the compatibility of RapiSol micronutrients.”

Agspec has also appointed Philip Lintern as Business Development Manager following the company’s acquisition by Azelis.

Phil brings more than 40 years of agricultural experience with him after beginning his career with Hoechst on the Eyre Peninsula in SA in the mid-1980s.

His career has spanned every Australian state, and his 15 seasons with Agspec have given him unmatched insight into the company’s portfolio and opportunities for growth.

Phil will focus on developing the existing Agspec portfolio, identifying synergies with Azelis globally, and helping bring new products and solutions to market.

His passion for adjuvants, deep knowledge of CropShock, and understanding of the complex interplay between adjuvants, chemicals, and fertilisers make him an exceptional leader to help guide Agspec into a dynamic and challenging future.
