Congratulations to Professor Christine Beveridge, who has been appointed centre director for horticultural science at QAAFI for a five year term.

She is currently the director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Plant Success in Nature and Agriculture at UQ and has an international research reputation.

Professor Beveridge joined QAAFI on July 1 and will transition to the new role throughout the year, while continuing her role at CoE Plant Success.

Professor Andre Drenth, who has been acting in the position for the past six months, will remain interim director until the end of 2025.
