What a first year for the Rainbow Agroscience Australia brand in the Australian marketplace!

Fantastic support from the rural retail industry, further additions to the local Rainbow team and facilities across the country and great acknowledgement of the product portfolio - in particular quality and significant investment into exciting new products to come.

It’s no wonder Australia and New Zealand general manager Darrin Hines wished to express a big thank you to all of the company’s retail customer partners for their support.

“We have global brand equity, but the Rainbow brand has only been in the Australian market for 12 months and we couldn’t be happier with how quickly it has been accepted and become part of the local industry. We warmly appreciate the great support,” Darrin said.

“We have a strong distribution base across the country and a vibrant team that has been further strengthened with customer service and regional management personnel recently, which is developing very strong relationships with our customers nation-wide.”

Rainbow is a major off-patent agrochemical supplier, with more than 330 APVMA registrations in Australia, and it is continuing to provide solutions for key market requirements.

Darrin said customers had well recognised Rainbow’s broad product portfolio, broad number of pack size options for many key products, and they had especially referenced the company’s product packaging and quality.

“We have received many positive comments about the sturdiness of the packaging, saying that it’s first class, as well as the quality of our products.”

He said the industry can have confidence in the global power and knowledge backing the new brand and product portfolio, which is a strength of Rainbow.

“China is the biggest agrochemical exporter in the world and Rainbow is the biggest exporter out of China, so there is great capacity to supply a large range of products to Australian customers in relatively quick time.

“The company has the agility and flexibility to produce large volumes of products very quickly for the Australian market and this is important, especially during a time when there can be a focus on minimising inventories and having a competitive marketplace.”

Rainbow has hundreds of automated production lines ensuring fast, high-quality product delivery worldwide.

By managing production in-house, the company maintains full control over its portfolio, packaging and quality assurance, allowing for rapid market responsiveness.

Darrin said significant further investment into local product development, the company’s facilities and supply chain, as well as resourcing for its team was setting the platform for an exciting growth period ahead for the business.

“We are looking forward to bringing a big range of new products to the market in the years to come, including several key molecules essential to the industry,” he said.
