UMS has expanded its agronomy and sales team with the appointment of two new area managers, reinforcing its commitment to delivering practical agronomic support backed by technical expertise.
Jodie Chenoweth has joined the UMS southern sales team as area manager for western Victoria and South Australia, further strengthening agronomic and sales support across key pasture regions.
Growing up on a Victorian dairy farm, Jodie combines hands-on farming experience with a Bachelor of Agriculture from Charles Sturt University and more than seven years working in the agricultural industry.

She began her career in 2019 as a breeding agronomist with BASF, working within the Canadian InVigor portfolio.
Following this role, Jodie returned closer to home, working with a leading rural retailer to support pasture clients in fine-tuning their businesses to achieve greater gains from their pastures.
Her strong understanding of pasture systems and livestock production brings valuable insight to farmers and rural retailers, particularly across dairy and beef-focused regions.

Jasleen Sandu has also joined UMS as area manager for eastern and central Victoria, strengthening the UMS agronomy and sales team across the Victorian region.
Originally from Malaysia, Jasleen moved to Australia to complete a Bachelor of Science in animal science and crop and pasture science at Murdoch University.
She began her career in Hamilton as a fertiliser agronomist before expanding her experience across mixed farming systems in Ballarat and the Yarrawonga region.
Her background provides a strong understanding of soil, pasture and crop management, with a focus on practical solutions that improve on-farm performance.
UMS general manager David Lockhart says the appointments reflect the company’s continued investment in people and regional support.
“Strong relationships with rural retailers remain central to our business, and bringing experienced people into the team helps us stay connected on the ground and deliver practical outcomes,” he explains.
