Join us at WeedSmart Week Dalby from the 6th to the 7th of December 2022. WeedSmart Week is designed to engage growers and advisors on the WeedSmart Big 6 messages.
The program consists of a Forum day at the Dalby Showgrounds and farm visits in Queensland's Western Downs to see how forward-thinking growers are implementing the WeedSmart Big 6 tactics to minimise the impact of herbicide resistance on their businesses.
At the technology and machinery field demonstration, attendees will have the opportunity to see and discuss cutting-edge innovations such as the latest sprayer and weed detection technology, and a range of harvest weed seed control implements.
WeedSmart Week offers a unique opportunity for growers and industry stakeholders to hear first-hand about innovative and practical weed solutions.
AGENDA
Leading growers and agronomists will share practical solutions to optimise crop yields and profit whilst reducing the weed seed bank.
Tuesday 6 December (Day 1): Dalby Showgrounds - Forum
Hear from leading agronomists, as well as some of the innovative growers based in Queensland's Western Downs who are implementing the WeedSmart Big 6 tactics to control weeds. The day will conclude with a complimentary sundowner.
Wednesday 7 December (Day 2): Dalby Showgrounds - Machinery Expo and Farm Visits
At the Machinery Expo, growers will speak about their experiences with the latest in spray and camera technology, impact mills and other mechanical weed control tools. In the afternoon, prominent grain growers of Queensland's Western Downs will showcase their farms and share their innovative ways to control weeds.
Return bus transportation from Dalby to the farms is included in the ticket price.

REGISTRATIONS
The price is for both days. There is no option to attend Day 1 or Day 2 only.
